Farewell to Russ Bakewell

Our women’s head coach, Russell Bakewell, has left the club following the end of the 2024/25 season.

Russ’s contribution to getting our women’s team back up and running has been huge, and we’re extremely grateful for everything he’s done and achieved this season. The Committee and Leicester Athletic Futsal Club Players would like to extend our thanks for his efforts and dedication, which contributed to a strong league performance and final standings for our Women’s Team.

Following this news, we will be announcing the new Women’s Coaching Team in due course.
